Judy Miller Out of Jail, To Testify Friday
Gee, and her soul is as white as the driven snow:
I am leaving jail today because my source has now voluntarily and personally released me from my promise of confidentiality regarding our conversations relating to the Wilson-Plame matter. My attorneys have also reached agreement with the Office of Special Counsel regarding the nature and scope of my testimony, which satisfies my obligation as a reporter to keep faith with my sources.
In other words, even though Scooter claims to have released me a year ago, I, being Judy Miller, adhere to a higher standard. The Judy Miller standard.
So self-righteous. You weren't being a reporter, Judy, cause you never wrote a story.
Ah well. The real question is whether her testimony will prove worthwhile to Fitzgerald, and whether his investigation will lead to the indictment of any White House aides.
